Jogabout Niles #5

Hey all...I recently reconnected with the "Growing up in Niles" page on facebook and spent most of Sunday evening going over some of the great pictures and memories that they evoked.

As I have said before, Niles really is a Great Place to Live. I know that growing up you would see those signs and as a teenager I would silently mock that saying, but as I have been running over the past few weeks and reading some of the comments by past residents, I truly believe that it is a "Great place to live".

I lived in NJ for a couple years and I've been to many other cities around the country, as I m sure many of you have, some nice, some not so nice. I know people who grew up in great neighborhoods that have gone down the tubes, but Niles is still vibrant and will always be fondly remembered by many people as a wonderful "home" and a great place to have grown up in. And it still is!!

The FB page has over 1000 members and I m sure that many of them no longer live here, so I thought on this last run - and subsequent future runs - that I would give them a look at Niles today. So I have attached a bunch of pics - sorry for the thumb in a few of them - and hope you all enjoy.
