The Board of Directors’ task of streamlining the organization resulted in a new set of bylaws based on the version in effect back in 1936. The new bylaws are straight-forward and focused on an achievable vision to “promote trade, industry and the public good”. The Chamber is once again looking at what’s best and unique about Morton Grove and will be moving the organization along a path that is a custom fit for our community. The old motto from the little vintage bylaws booklet said it best: “Ever Onward” which is a perfect slogan for a community that is proud of its past, but will be focusing on the future!
