Executive Director of Golf Mill, Dan Harrington, opened up the event by giving a warm welcome and introducing the ConnectedLiving team and program to the community. During the presentation, the ConnectedLiving team surprised resident, Len Burkhardt, with a Skype call to his nephew, Lewis, from Minneapolis who he hasn’t seen in 21 years. The launch event concluded with a ribbon cutting for the brand new digital display in The Park at Golf Mill’s atrium. Following the ribbon cutting, residents surrounded the computers in the lab to get a sneak peak of the ConnectedLiving Network and many signed up for classes with their trainer, Amanda Loomis.
