Corona Virus Fears Spreading
Local retailers are experiencing a run on all manner of stock able consumer goods.
With fears of the Corona virus (COVID-19) being spread via all manner of media and social media, plus government agencies, retailers are experiencing a run on many consumer goods such as paper products, water, sport drinks, cookies, and canned goods.
This reporter visited a local big box retailer to investigate first hand the retail rush and it is alive and well with parking lots are packed to capacity and spots are hard to find.
Store shelves are empty or nearly empty of many products as consumers nervous over fears of the Corona virus are stocking up in a run on retail not seen in quite some time.
