Don't Golf? Don't Worry! Join Us For Dinner!

If feels like summer has finally arrived in Chicagoland (well, at least for now anyway)! Once the sun shines, the grass turns green and warmer weather envelopes us all, many start to think about getting out their clubs and playing a few rounds of golf. The Morton Grove and Park Ridge Chambers of Commerce are working together to bring their members together for their annual golf outing, and want to invite everyone from our communities to participate in this event.

Scheduled for Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Chevy Chase Country Club on Milwaukee Avenue in Wheeling, the golf outing offers more than just the satisfaction of hitting the links. The day begins with lunch at 12 noon in the club house where golfers can enjoy a bite and meet others from the business, government and civic leaders of both Morton Grove and Park Ridge. At 1:30 p.m. all golfers will enjoy a day on the beautiful course at Chevy Chase and stopping by all our hole sponsors and riding in new golf carts, also sponsored by many organizations supporting the event. A beverage cart will roam the course making sure everyone stays hydrated and provide a chance for a break.

As the day wraps up, the golfers will return to the club house to enjoy cocktails, indulge in a sumptuous buffet dinner, look over the raffle prizes and silent auctions items and compare their scores and stories of the day. Dinner will at 5:30 p.m. when others who did not golf will join their friends and colleagues for the rest of the evening's festivities, including the awards of trophies for the golfers.

Both chambers want to thank all those who have confirmed they will join them for golf, dinner, golf and dinner along with the donation of many prizes for the raffles and auctions and the generous sponsorship of holes, golf carts, beverage cart, lunch, cocktails and goodie bags and other give-a-ways who will all be recognized in our program and in our social media postings. Special thanks to everyone buying raffle tickets that help our Chambers continue the work of supporting and promoting our local businesses. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local charities.
