The Douglas Center Announces Launch of Newly Redesigned Website

The Douglas Center Website Has A Whole New Look!

Skokie, IL - The Douglas Center, a non-profit organization that provides day programs for individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities, recently announced the launch of their newly redesigned website. The main objectives of the site redevelopment effort were focused on providing visitors with a more intuitive navigation system that directs them to the information most relevant to them. In addition to the new design and layout of the pages, The Douglas Center has added new features to its site. From the home page, visitors may now preview the organization’s latest news as well as quick links to some of their key services.

The Douglas Center has also changed its website address from .com to .org. Their new website address is: www.thedouglascenter.org .

“Redesigning our website will assist us in more effectively spreading the word about The Douglas Center’s vital programs and services for people with special needs,” stated Rifath Khan, CEO for The Douglas Center. “We are excited that our redesigned site may broaden our outreach and help facilitate access for those who are urgently seeking these services.” The Douglas Center invites you to preview their new website.

About The Douglas Center

The Douglas Center provides day programs for individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. The Douglas Center Work Center offers work programs that include light manufacturing, sewing, packaging, assembly, shrink-wrapping, labeling, heat sealing, fulfillment services, etc. by partnering with local manufacturers on work contracts/projects. The center offers pre-vocational training as well as developmental rehabilitation for adults of all ages. The Douglas Center opened its doors in 1999. Today, they provide a home away from home for 140 hard working and dedicated individuals. The center’s clinical services, training programs, employment opportunities, “Art From The Heart” Creations program, “Young at Heart” Seniors program and “High Fives” adapted sports recreation program enhance the lives of their program participants and assist them in reaching their maximum potential.
