Historian Jim Gibbons presents a detailed biography of Eleanor Roosevelt, one of the most powerful and controversial women in American history. As the wife of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the niece of President Theodore Roosevelt, her life was surrounded, shaped and finally driven into politics, though she never ran for public office.
