Update: Golf Dist. 67 Loses Referendum

Golf School District 67 in Niles and Morton Grove has lost its bid for a tax rate increase to fund educational programs.

 

Golf School District 67, which includes Hynes Elementary and Golf Middle School, asked voters to vote on a ballot question which would raise the property tax rate to provide funding for the district's educational programming. 

Two-thirds of voters said no, defeating the question.
