Largest Halloween Costume Contest to be held in Golf Mill Shopping Center’s History.
Niles, IL- October 20, 2011- Over 400 prizes will be given out to children and teens of all ages at Golf Mill Shopping Center’s largest Halloween Costume Contest. The competition will take place near the Customer Service Center on October 31, 2011, from 6pm-9pm. Contestants can register for the event earlier the same day from 3:30pm-5:30pm, near the stage area in front of Customer Service.
Jully’s, a family owned specialty store, is the sponsor of this year’s costume contest extravaganza. Jully’s specializes in handmade jewelry from Freshwater, Akoya, Tahitian and Shell pearls decorated onto 14karat gold rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. The store is open for business inside of Golf Mill Shopping Center, and also holds a wide selection of Hello Kitty and “TY” Beanie products, to name a few.

This fun filled event is free and open to the public. Three age categories encompassing Youth (ages 0-3), Junior (ages 4-10) and Teens (ages 11-18) will compete to win one of three prizes per age category. The winning continues as all three, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of each age category will additionally take home their choice of a Hello Kitty Plush or Helicopter gift. The Grand Prize will be a $100 gift card. Over 400 prizes will be given out to participants!
A live performance by Celebrity Dance Studio, professional dance crew, will enliven the song Thriller, originated by the late music icon, Michael Jackson.
