All three Maine East High School choirs (Mixed Chorus, Concert Choir and Chamber Singers) along with the Demonaires (swing
choir) will be performing Wednesday, May 18, at 7:00 pm in the Maine East Auditorium.
Directed by Ben Avci, East's choirs will be singing a wide variety of pieces including popular songs ("Breakeven" by the Script, Haven't Met You Yet" by Michael Buble, and "Hello, Goodbye" by the Beatles) as well as some strong choral standards such as Lloyd Pfautsch's "Musicks Empire."
There will be just over 100 students performing in the concert.
