Express Yourself: National Poetry Month

Contribute to the community poetry board at the Morton Grove Public Library.

April is National Poetry Month!

Established by the Academy of American Poets, poets, libraries, schools, and booksellers celebrate National Poetry Month with programs and events across the U.S.

Help the Morton Grove Public Library celebrate poetry and contribute to the community poetry board at the Library. All ages are welcome to come create an original poem on our oversized poetry board. Come down to the Youth Services department at any time and get creative! Need some inspiration? We will feature a new poem every day on the Library’s homepage, so visit mgpl.org to add a little poetry to your day.
