Floor Collapses At Condo Building, Displacing All Residents: Police
The building will be closed until it is deemed structurally clear, police said.

MORTON GROVE, IL — An entire condo building has been displaced after a floor collapse Saturday evening forced an evacuation in the north suburbs, according to police.
Officers responded around 8:15 p.m. Saturday to the 5900 block of Lincoln Avenue in Morton Grove to assist the local fire department with a partial floor collapse in one of the units, police said, adding no one was injured.
Almost two dozen people were rescued by firefighters after a beam in the basement garage partially failed, causing the building’s floors to drop several inches and leaving condo doors jammed shut, according to NBC Chicago.
