Cook County Forest Preserves remain open during the COVID-19 outbreak and crisis in Illinois.
This local reporter took the trails of the North Branch Trail to see for himself the activity level in the Forest Preserve and people were out and about, walking, jogging and biking, all while maintaining proper social distancing guidelines.
Families were out and about with moms, dads and children with bike riding being a popular activity, as well as people stopping to observe and experience nature for a nice change of pace after being inside their homes.
