Fundraising initiative set to kick off at St. John Brebeuf

Queen of Hearts raffle ticket sales are expected to begin Monday, Nov. 4, according to John Jekot, Chair of the Queen of Hearts Committee.

St. John Brebeuf Church has joined a growing list of Catholic churches in the Chicago Archdiocese as it kicks off its Queen of Hearts raffle fundraising initiative. Drawings will be held each Wednesday beginning Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 9 p.m. at Chaser’s Bar & Grill, 9003 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Niles.

Ticket sales are expected to begin Monday, Nov. 4, at both the parish and school offices according to John Jekot, Chair of the Queen of Hearts Committee. They will also be sold at Rand Road House, 864 Rand Road, Des Plaines; and at Chasers Sports Bar & Grill locations in Niles, Schiller Park and Lake Zurich. Tickets are $5 each.

"The funds raised through the Queen of Hearts Raffle will help us continue the mission of our parish—feed the poor, serve the ill, and deepen the faith—so that we can be a transformative force in the larger community," said Father Michael Meany, pastor at St. John Brebeuf.
