Garage Sales Now Permitted In Niles
Garage sales are once again permitted within the Village of Niles after being temporarily suspended due to the coronavirus.

Garage sales are once again permitted within the Village of Niles (effective June 15) after being temporarily suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic. A garage sale permit must be obtained and all garage sales must comply with the Village of Niles Municipal Code. Further, garage sales must comply with the State of Illinois Phase 3 guidelines and regulations. All persons operating a garage sale and all attendees shall wear appropriate face coverings. No more than ten (10) individuals, including those operating the garage sale, should be present at any one time. All persons should maintain the recommended six (6) feet of social distancing. Garage sale operators should sanitize all frequently touched surfaces as well as products that they wish to sell. Attendees of garage sales should wash and disinfect their hands after each garage sale they attend.
