Greek Myths and Legends is an ensemble
piece that features a variety of mythological tales: some from the
original Greek sources, some modern adaptations of ancient tales
(including an excerpt from Aristophanes The Frogs and a modern verse tale that relates to the Iliad and the Odyssey).
This production is a fast-moving,
high-action, very interactive production suitable for children ages 4
and up. It introduces children of all ages to inventive interpretations of ancient Greek literature, and offers young people a theatrical
experience in a fast-paced ensemble format.
The performance will take place April 4 at 7 p.m. and April 6 at 2:30
p.m. in Regina Dominican's O'Shaughnessy Theater. Tickets are available
at the door: $5 for students, $8 for adults and
$20 for a family package.
