Gunman Robs Video Gambling Cafe In Niles, Police Say
Niles police said man in sweat pants gave an employee a note threatening to "shoot everyone."

NILES, IL — Police are looking for a man who robbed a business at gunpoint Sunday morning in a Niles strip mall.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Tracy's location at 8600 Golf Road, which had opened about 90 minutes earlier.
The robber came into the video gambling cafe with a duffel back and passed a note to an employee, according to a release from the the Niles Police Department.

Police said the hand-written note demanded money and threatened to shoot everyone in the business. There were two patrons and the employee, a 37-year-old man, inside the business at the time of the gunman's arrival.
The employee handed over about $1,125 in cash and the robber fled the cafe, according to police. It was not clear which direction he ran or if he had a getaway car.

The gunman was described as 5 feet and 8 or 9 inches tall and weighing 200 to 210 pounds. Police said he was wearing a face mask, blue cap, green hoodie, gray sweat pants and white gym shoes.
Niles police also provided an image captured from security cameras that shows the suspect inside the cafe.
