Living through the Eye of the Compassionate Soul
Life Coach Corina Andronache talks about the meaning of living life through the eye of the compassionate soul and its implication to the greater good of all.

We live in succession, in division, in parts, in particles. Meantime within man is the soul of the whole; the wise silence; the universal beauty, to which every part and particle is equally related, the eternal ONE. And this deep power in which we exist and whose beatitude is all accessible to us, is not only self-sufficing and perfect in every hour, but the act of seeing and the thing seen, the seer and the spectacle, the subject and the object, are one. We see the world piece by piece, as the sun, the moon, the animal, the tree; but the whole, of which these are shining parts, is the soul.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson~
Us, humans, make sense of the physical world through our sensory system. We smell, hear and see what is happening around us. Based on the information received, we make choices that are useful to us, or sometimes not. When we make choices that are not in our favor is because we have made decisions solely through the physical senses. The material eye can only perceive successions and fragmentation. Without being able to see a bigger picture of reality, we become victims of a partial world that lacks compassion, inclusion, integration and interconnection, therefore our decisions lack the insightfulness of a broader perspective.

The physical eye is material; it is the part of the body that has the function of seeing the physical world. Matter, the material world, is made up of parts and particles that come together in what we perceive as objects, plants, mountains, rain or trees. The material eye sees the world as is. It is not able to differentiate between what is real and what not because reality is only measured on facts, systems, theories and schemes. Reality is masked by the wall of what we see, smell and hear. We need the eye of the soul to penetrate this thick wall of the material world and go to essence of life, to what makes life meaningful, mysterious and whole.
The soul speaks a different language than its material counterpart. To the eye of the soul reality is perceived through various forms of art and creative endeavors. The soul speaks in the language of poetry, painting, writing, dancing, music and anything that the creative side of humanity manifests into the world. The soul sees beauty. It takes pleasure in getting lost in the blue skies, the flowers in the meadow and the rain falling from the green leafs sprinkling the earth with manna from heaven. The soul is not linear, nor it is limited to only what the eye can see.

The eye of the soul has the innate ability to go beyond the fractured perspective perceived by the material eye. Because the soul is rich with our past memories, it is constantly analyzing the new visual input experienced in the physical world. It is the eye of the soul that gives meaning to the material world! It is the eye of the soul that challenges old world view, outdated philosophies and data. It is the eye of the compassionate soul that glues the pieces together and creates a reality as seen from the top of the mountain.
There is a candle in your heart, ready to be kindled. There is a void in your soul, ready to be filled. You feel it, don’t you?
~Rumi~
Down, in the valley of life, reality can seem frightening and worrisome. However, if we have the opportunity to see any situation from the perspective of the mighty eagle flying the blue skies, than we are able to see all the details that create the situation we are dealing with. We need the eye of the soul that can soar to great heights in order to help us see and feel that we are not broken, fragmented, empty or alone.
The soul is proactive, progressive, practical and positive. The soul has imagination, passion, compassion and always wants to make the world a better place. The soul lives a life of mission, vision and constantly striving for inner and outer fulfillment.
The eye of the soul never goes to sleep. At night, when we close our eyes, the introspect eye of the soul is at work through our dreams. The soul has the ability to create images that the waking mind cannot. The Soul sees images that can transcend reality. It can invent versions of reality that humans will create when the time is right. Leonardo Da Vinci saw with the eyes of his soul flying machines, tanks, etc. The soul is creative, intense, passionate and able to perceive the most subtle nuances in the energy field.
We all seek soul. While soul is always present, it doesn’t appear in our lives automatically. Soul requires our attention and reflection. Offering our respectful regard to the soul is a way of loving it, caring for it, nurturing it.
~Benjamin Shield and Richard Carlson~
Our soul is the essence of who we are. The soul knows how to dream, how to have visions, how to hope, how to create, re-invent and love. The soul is eternal, never getting hurt or broken. The soul is our unshakable root going to the center of the earth where ambrosia flows like hot lava warming our being with the light of compassion.
The eye of the soul “feels” the world and allows itself to be shaped by the creative energy of reflecting upon the mystery of life. Nurturing our soul is necessary if we want to create a whole world within and without. Paying attention and being reverent with our soul is a sign of healthy humbleness for the part of us that allows us to live thorough the eyes of the compassionate soul.
To live through the eyes of the compassionate soul means to see everything as part of a whole. The soulful eye pays attention to the needs of his owner, sees the pain of others and is able to hold the whole world in its arms. The soulful eye speaks the truth, accepts reality, hopes for peace, lives in loving kindness and practices the Law of Interbeing, where everything is connected into ONE.
Then, we realize that we are all part of a whole, together with the trees, the birds, the rivers and the seas. We are connected with each other in a magic dance so perfect that if one part is in pain, the whole suffers in a way that influences all of us on a subconscious level. Only the eye of the soul is capable of the much needed compassion that binds us all together. Without the eye of the soul, we would be nothing more than machines responding to the instinctual commands of the material world.
Let your mind start a journey thru a strange new world. Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before. Let your soul take you where you long to be…Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar, and you’ll live as you’ve never lived before.
~Erich Fromm~
Trust the eye of your compassionate soul! It has the power to penetrate the deepest recesses of who you are and create wholeness within yourself as well as the world you live in.
