Local LA Fitness has closed it's doors forever.

The North Shore LA Fitness, a Signature Club, has closed it's doors after 34 years.

The gym closed for good at 2pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.

All the equipment is being sold to a fitness retailer who will then clean and fix as needed, and offer for resale, according to LA Fitness management interviewed for this story.

Many members took many videos and pictures of this one of a kind gym, which shall never be duplicated anywhere, at any price.

The gym had more than 200 pieces of equipment and free weights, racquetball courts, a spinning room, dance studio, running track and MMA kicking bags. Also the club had a lap pool, sauna pool, steam room and two room sauna, all of which were for both sexes, unlike new LA Fitness gyms, which put their saunas in their respective gender locker rooms.

The club was a once in a lifetime experience and it's many members remained loyal clientele until the very last minute. Those members will now go to other LA Fitness gyms and/or join other local gyms.
