Maine Township's 10th Annual Community Garage Sale Sept. 26
As one of the most beloved community garage sales in the area, we are celebrating 10 years of serving residents in this unique way.

Community Garage Sale Proceeds Benefits Needy Families and Disadvantaged Kids
Maine Township is making final preparations for the 10th Annual Community Garage Sale. Benefiting disadvantaged children and hungry families, the event will be held rain or shine, Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Maine Township Town Hall, 1700 Ballard Rd., Park Ridge.
Featuring wares from over 80 families, the event is organized by the MaineStay Youth & Family Services department of Maine Township with major event sponsorship provided by Whole Foods Market in Park Ridge. Other sponsors include Highway Commissioner Robert Provenzano, Cook County Commissioner Peter Silvestri, Senior News 50 & Better, Republic Services, and Parkway Bank.. Proceeds benefit the MaineStay Adventure Summer Camp for at-risk youth and the Township’s Emergency Food Pantry.

No donated merchandise will be accepted for resale this year. But, residents can still participate in several other ways. People can reserve space to sell their own treasures (call about availability), make a financial donation or come by to shop on the day of the sale.
Spaces are sold on a first-come, first-served basis while they last. Spaces, which are eight by sixteen feet, are $25 each. Premium outdoor spaces are $30. Table rentals are available for $10. There are also a limited number of premium indoor spaces inside the garage at $50 which includes a table.
