MCC Full Time School experienced the largest turn-out in history for its Annual Benefit Dinner on Saturday, March 8, 2014, where attendees celebrated the school’s 25th Anniversary. The sheer number of guests, nearly 900 in total, is a great testament to the strong and growing unity among the MCCFTS community. There is much excitement and hopefulness about MCCFTS with the recent purchase of a second facility and plans for a significant increase in enrollment and program offerings. Stakeholders and community members alike showed their support of the vision and direction in which the organization is heading through generous donations and pledges of financial support to help continue the legacy of this most prominent, Islamic education institution. Dignitaries from Morton Grove and Skokie municipalities as well as from local school districts were in attendance, including Morton Grove Mayor Dan DiMaria, Skokie Mayor George Van Dusen, Parkview Elementary School Principal Ivy Sukenic and District 70 Superintendent Dr. Phil Collins.
