MG Farmers' Market Opening Day is THIS Saturday 6/6

The Morton Grove Farmers’ Market’s Opening Day is on June 6th.
The Market will be open from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Opening Ceremonies to kick off our SIXTH seasonwill begin at 9:30 am.

Musician Gene Lim will perform from 8:00-9:00 am to raise funds for Feed My Starving Children.
- Opening Ceremonies will start at 9:30 am with a Boy Scouts Color Guard flag ceremony followed by a brief welcome from our Village President. Mayor DiMaria will introduce our partners, the Village of Morton Grove, the Morton Grove Park District and the MG Chamber of Commerce, to help kick off another wonderful season.

Golf School District 67‘s Community Day featuring performances by the Golf Middle School Jazz Band and Show Chorus. - The Golf students will perform the National Anthem immediately after the 9:30 am flag ceremony.
- The Hynes/Golf PTA will be selling spirit wear and offering face painting and temporary tattoos.
- The Community Engagement Committee will be co-hosting the Golf 67 book giveaway with tons of children’s books donated by district families and staff.

Community Group on hand: Bike Morton Grove - This new group will offer tire pumping lessons, tips on how to lock up your bike effectively, a free drawing, and much more.- Storytime will be held every 30 minutes from 10 am - 12 noon at the Bike MG table.
- Learn about the upcoming “Show ‘n Go” community ride after the June 13th farmers’ market.
