Monarch Landing Hosts 'Party of Parties'
On the eve before New Year's Eve, there was a big celebration in Naperville.
On the eve before New Year's Eve, there was a big celebration in Naperville as residents of Monarch Landing senior living community held their annual New Year's Eve Eve party. One-hundred fifty residents donned their fanciest attire, as they welcomed the New Year a day ahead of time. "The residents have busy schedules, and many have New Year's Eve plans, so having this on December 30th, allows more people to attend," said John Torri, the resident who chaired the event.
The 2019 New Year's Eve Eve celebration featured popular singer Sandi Haynes providing live musical entertainment, dancing, and a photo booth. The special dining menu featured cocktails, hors d' oeuvres, steak, and crab cakes.
"The event was a success," said resident John. "People called it the 'party of parties', and residents keep telling me it was one heck of a party."
