Moretti's Pizza to Open in Morton Grove in 2017
Village agrees to provide incentives for new restaurant on Dempster Street.
MORTON GROVE, IL - A Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria will open in Morton Grove before the end of 2017.
The restaurant recently came into a financing agreement with village officials paving the way for its eventual opening in the 6400 block of Dempster Street, according to the Morton Grove Champion.
The property will be sold from the village to Moretti’s parent Ala Carte Entertainment for $1.525 million and will cover tax increment financing expenses in the $600,000 range.

The restaurant, which has several other Chicagoland locations including one nearby in Mount Prospect, will have added incentive to remain open in Morton Grove for at least 20 years. If it does, officials will forgive the loan to cover TIF-eligible business development expenses.
The restaurant is expected to break ground in the next few weeks.
