Morton Grove B-Ball courts open

This reporter has been making the rounds at local parks and discovered that while Niles has shut down all sports courts, Morton Grove has left their basket ball courts open for use, for now.

There are no signs, tape, locks or anything else to prevent people from shooting hoops, which means individuals can still shoot some hoops by themselves or if they maintain the required 6ft of social distancing.

Opeka park in Morton Grove remains a nice place to go to get some much needed exercise during these difficult times.

The hoops court was completely empty except for one family of three playing soccer and shooting hoops, and the kids can and were playing a friendly game of kick with the soccer ball, as this brother and sister combo can still play and not have to be worried about a 6 foot separation as they would need to maintain if they were strangers.
