Morton Grove Chamber's February Networking
The Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and its Members Host Successful Winter Networking Events
The Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce is not letting the winter slow down the opportunities for new business for its membership this winter. Kicking off the year’s events with a Lunch & Learn program featuring Wayne Messmer at the new Audi Morton Grove on January 21 (which also had the village’s Nancy Radzevich share her economic outlook for 2015), the first successful event of the year was enjoyed by a sold out crowd. In February, Wright-Way Rescue hosted a Business After Hours on February 11 which despite the cold weather was packed with people taking a tour of the new facility and adopting furry four-legged additions to their family. The next day, Silverado Orchard Park, the village’s newest health care facility, opened their doors for a business networking event featuring a delicious display of chocolate and wine which was enjoyed by a standing room only crowd.
To continue our observance of Presidents’ Day, the American Legion Post 134 is hosting their Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce - Business After Hours on Tuesday, February 17 where the leaders in commerce, government and other local charitable and civic organizations will gather to exchange ideas and contacts to help continue the momentum of the Chamber’s looking ahead to a better business future. Also, Joe Hedrick will be honored as the Legionnaire of the Year!
Looking ahead to spring, the Chamber is launching an innovative new event titled “Prom Night in Morton Grove” which will be a combination Business After Hours from 5-7 pm followed by a Business Expo from 7-9 pm featuring local companies that provide services for prom season or any special event that needs to be planned and organized. This event will take place on March 18 at the American Legion Civic Center on Dempster.
