MORTON GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Morton Grove Police Department as a record of incidents reported during the past week and recent arrests. An arrest by the police does not constitute a finding of guilt, criminal charges can be dropped or reduced. Everyone is innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court.
ACTIVE WARRANT
Davor Budimir, 38, of the 8500 block of Callie Avenue, was stopped for crossing against the signal on April 28 at Lincoln and Georgiana avenues. Police found him to have an active warrant out of Cook County.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Anthony "Spyder" Miller, 19, of the 4800 block of Kedvale in Chicago, was arrested May 3 after being tracked down and identified as the suspect in a residential burglary from March 24 that occurred on the 6600 block of Golf Road.

ALCOHOL TO MINOR
A 47-year-old Des Plaines woman was cited for selling alcohol to a minor and letting a minor enter a restricted gaming area at Betty's Bistro on May 3.
LAWN DEFECATION
A 77-year-old Morton Grove man was issued a citation for disorderly conduct for defecating on the lawn of a resident of the 8200 block of Major Avenue on May 4.
CAR BURGLARY
On May 5, someone reportedly stole tools out of an unlocked truck and damaged a second vehicle on the 7800 block of Lehigh Avenue.
ROBBERY
Someone listed a pair of shoes to sell on Facebook. Another person agreed to buy the shoes at the person's house. The "buyer" showed up the 8000 block of Menard on May 6 and first tried to pay with counterfeit currency, before striking the seller on the arm and driving off the with shoes.
IDENTITY THEFT
On May 1, a Morton Grove man reported that a woman had gone into a Chase Bank in Indiana, used his social security number and withdrew funds from his account. The bank has refunded the funds to his account.
FORGERY
On May 4, a Morton Grove man reported someone forged a check with his account information. The bank has refunded the funds.
On May 4, a caller reported a customer had opened a checking and savings account online. The customer allegedly remote deposited checks from a blocked or frozen account at a credit union on the 5900 block of Lincoln and managed to withdraw some cash before being discovered.
LOCKER ROOM THREATS
On May 4, a caller said he got into a dispute with another man in the men's locker room at the L.A. Fitness on Dempster. The caller said threats were made. The other party was contacted and told police he would exercise elsewhere.
