Morton Grove McDonald's Meet the Owner Breakfast June 27th.

The Morton Grove, celebrated their grand re-opening with a cake-cutting, meet the owner breakfast on Wednesday morning June 27th.

The new remodeled McDonald's, located at 6309 W. Dempster St. in Morton Grove, celebrated their grand re-opening with a cake-cutting, and meet the owner breakfast on Wednesday morning June 27th.

David Bear, Owner-Operator, is proud to bring a new, upscale McDonald's to the Morton Grove community. This new restaurant will be enjoyed for years to come. The new McDonald's has a new dining room, self-order kiosks, mobile-ordering, table service and a state of the art kitchen. It is exactly what Morton Grove McDonald's lovers have been waiting for.

At the breakfast, David Bear welcomed Village employees, Chamber members, and some regular customers who were in attendance.

Village President, Dan DiMaria spoke at the event and told David how thrilled they are to have him in the community. Dan said McDonald's has been in their community for 45 years, he also said his dad was offered the opportunity to own a McDonald's in Niles in his early adulthood, however did not take that opportunity because people believed McDonald's would not last, so McDonald's is very close to his heart. Dan told David Bear that they are all about community in Morton Grove and they feel special that he has invested in their community.

Also, in attendance was Executive Director of the Morton Grove Chamber, Mark Matz, Vice President of the Morton Grove Chamber, Jim Broderick, Trustee, Bill Grear, Trustee, Ed Ramos, Trustee, John Thill, Village Administrator, Ralph Czerwinski, Assistant to the Village Administrator, Tom Friel, Community and Economic Development Director, Nancy Radzevich, Vice President Banking Center Manager at MB Financial Bank, Deborah Manno and Pastor Elizabeth Jones from St. Luke Christian Community Church.

David Bear spoke about how special Morton Grove is to him and how proud he is to be in Morton Grove. He also spoke about the experience he wants everyone to have at his restaurants and he hopes they come back every day to visit. He said the McDonald's of today is not the McDonald's of the past. It is his top priority to impress every guest. David Bear told everyone how his parents started the business in 1967 and he was born with ketchup in his veins. David spoke of how involved he is in the communities he does business with and looks forward to being involved in Morton Grove as well.
