Morton Grove Parks Leader Leaves Suddenly
Brian Sullivan, the park district's executive director, resigned Monday, the district said.

After a brief board meeting Thursday, the Morton Grove Park District board went into a lengthy executive session. The public is barred from those sessions, and public bodies may only legally call them to discuss personnel, real estate, litigation and other such sensitive matters.
Board member Dominick Burdi, who earlier in the day had confirmed that the park district's executive director, Brian Sullivan, had resigned Monday, stepped out of the executive session around 8 p.m. with a press release.
