Morton Grove Prairie Water Dangerous

Tasting & testing of water from the Morton Grove Prairie water fountain reveals dangerous levels of contaminates.

After attempting to drink some water from the fountain located in front of the Morton Grove Prairie, and noticing a foul odor and horrible, burning taste, this reporter took a sample of the water for testing.

Testing with the ZeroWater ZT-2 Electronic Water Tester revealed contaminate levels of 670, approximately 4x the allowed levels, which range up to 180 in normal drinking water.

The village of Morton Grove has been made aware of the situation via website email and a follow up phone call will occur today to get this very dangerous public safety situation rectified as soon as possible.
