Pursuant to 65 ILCS 5.3.1-35-10 this Special Meeting provides the Board of Trustees an opportunity to override the Mayor’s removal of an appointed official and per 65 ILCS 5.3.1-30-5 approve the appointment of an Acting Family Services Director.
