Niles Library Selects New Trustee

She will replace a trustee who resigned for health reasons.

Karen Dimond, who serves as vice chair of the Village of Niles' Zoning and Planning Committee, was appointed by the Niles Library Board to fill a vacant seat.

The board had interviewed five candidates, including Dimond, Kaczanowski, Mary Marusek, Billy Van Cannon and former Niles Library Trustee Maureen Polcyn, on Thursday, and selected Dimond.
