The risk for Illinoisans of contracting the novel Coronavirus are low at this time, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health. You can take these steps to stay healthy:

• Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds before eating, after coughing or sneezing. Be sure to wash your thumbs, wrist, and between your fingers.
• Avoid touching your face (i.e. eyes, nose, and mouth) with unwashed hands.

• Stay at home if you feel ill.
• Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue and then throw it away. Again, wash your hands afterwards.
• Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects regularly using a regular household cleaning spray or alcohol wipe.
