Niles West High School Graduate featured in BrightSide Theatre's "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play"
BrightSide Theatre launches 4th season, "Celebrating Friends & Family" and is excited to be working with Daniella Rukin.

Daniella Rukin, a Chicago actor, who graduated from Niles West High School and University of Illinois at Chicago, is thrilled to make her BrightSide Theatre debut. Daniella expressed that, “ it’s incredibly exciting to play such an iconic role in an even more iconic story, but I’m most excited about playing a small part in spreading the holiday love that is so prevalent in the last month of the year.” She says, “It’s very easy to connect with Mary....She is a smart, strong woman....but her ability to make such an impact on the lives around her despite the circumstances of the time period is very inspiring.”
Celebrate this holiday by gathering your friends and family of all ages and step back in time to 1946 on Christmas Eve at the WBST Radio Studios and be a part of the live audience broadcast of “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.” Watch 5 actors bring this beloved American holiday classic to captivating life as they play 50 different characters, create all the live sound effects, and perform all the music in this inventive retelling of the timeless story. With the perfect blend of Christmas cheer and theatrical magic, audiences will fall in love all over again with George Bailey and the angel named Clarence who saved his life on Christmas Eve.
