Notre Dame College Prep Shines Bright under the Golden Arches

Niles| Notre Dame College Prep students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support the school.

Twenty teachers and support staff from Notre Dame College Prep volunteered behind the counter and at the Drive-Thru on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the Niles McDonald's located on Milwaukee Ave., where they served students and their families in a fundraiser.

Teachers Kanak, Karlowicz, and Khachik worked hard selling pies. Many Notre Dame Teachers worked behind the counter while teacher Rehder and Baseball Coach Allegretti worked hard at the drive-thru. Principal Tully and Assistant Principal Anne de Tagyos were at the event the entire night talking with families and taking lots of pictures with the kids. Mike Marrese, Director of Parent Relations spent the entire night in the Apple Pie Box Costume and set the bar for the night.

The proceeds from the 202 pies sold went directly to benefit the Notre Dame College Prep students. A percentage of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to Notre Dame College Prep. The school plans to put the money raised in the general fund to help run the school.
