Rev. Eugene Faucher, who served at the Morton Grove parish from 1975 to 1995, died Sunday. A funeral Mass is today at 2 p.m. in Arlington Heights.
The 50-year-old, who attended Our Lady of Ransom school and Maine East High School, battled colon cancer for three months.
Funeral is held for 'Uncle Pete' Zonsius, who spent decades bringing food to West Side shelters and soup kitchens, and collecting castoff furniture and clothes for the poor.
He will be waked today from 3 to 9 p.m.
Skowron, who died last week at 81, will be waked at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Niles.
He leaves a legacy of public service and 8 children, 29 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
