Officers Installed at Niles All American Toastmasters Club
Friendly public speaking club for Niles and surrounding areas has new officers.
The Niles All American Speakers Toastmasters Club has started a brand new year. New officers installed are President Steve Pederson, VP-Education Phil Zaczek,VP-Membership Madlene Condon, VP-PR Avigail Bakaleynik, Treasurer and Secretary Susan Siebers, and Sergeant at Arms Bill Shipp.
What is Toastmasters, you ask?
It's an international public speaking and leadership club that's one of the best professional development values you could ever find.

Most people are, let us say, less than comfortable speaking to a group, yet we often need to do just that, whether at work, at school, or within the community. Wouldn't it be great if you could overcome the fear of public speaking and improve your speaking skills in a safe, welcoming environment of like-minded people?
What if this group was made up of a very diverse group of people from around the globe, so you would be sure to feel comfortable, whoever you are? What if the group met in a convenient location, such as the Niles Public Library, just enough and not too often, say, two Mondays a month at 7:30 p.m.? What if this group had a proven method and a simple-to-follow 10-project educational program with all the fundamental skills you need to noticeably improve your speaking abilities in a very short time?
Well, you get the picture. Every club meeting gets members up and talking, with short and long planned speeches, simple personal introductions, and impromptu responses to surprise questions that can be either easy or challenging, but are meant to be fun. Guests are welcome to visit as often as they wish, and can observe or even try it out during certain parts of the evening.
