Authorities believe two vehicles could have been racing while west on Higgins Road when one of the vehicles lost control and traveled into the eastbound lane, crashing into two other vehicles and ejecting the driver from the car, according to the article.
The Daily Herald reports the driver of that car was pronounced dead at the scene and another victim was taken to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
