Park View School Raise Funds For Spring Performance

Morton Grove|Park View School students gave teachers and administrators an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support the Park View School Theater Program.

Principal Matt Condon, teachers, and support staff from Park View School volunteered behind the counter on Tuesday, September 24th at the Morton Grove McDonald's located on Dempster Street, where they served students and their families in their second annual fundraiser.

Theater Program Co-Directors Chelsea Massari and Chris Kennelly sang and danced around the restaurant encouraging students to purchase a delicious apple pie while teachers tended the front counter, served ice cream and presented delicious food at the drive-thru.

The proceeds from the 240 apple pies sold will help offset the costs of the spring performance of The Lion King. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were donated directly to the Park View PTO.

"Park View School is thrilled to provide their students the opportunity to shine on and off stage in our Spring 2020 production of The Lion King. So many teachers and families turned out to support us. Our directors, clad in a pie costume, and our very own Principal Mr. Condon serving up orders, proudly helped bring the community together. We'd like to thank David Bear and McDonald's for their generosity!" stated Co-Directors Chelsea Massari and Chris Kennelly.
