Pet of the Week: Oodles of Poodles!

The poodles featured this week are truly a Cinderella story, and Chicago Canine Rescue is their Fairy Godmother!  You may remember seeing a sad news story at the end of November about a hoarder's home burning.  Inside the burning home were many dogs.  Tragically, lives were lost.  However, thanks to the heroic efforts of some great people, many were saved!

Five of those poodles were lucky enough to find their way into the loving arms of CCR.  There they were cleaned up and groomed, and they look like different dogs now!  CCR is in the process of getting their medical care up to date.  They are vaccinated and dewormed and microchipped, are heartworm tested and on preventatives, and they are getting much-needed dental care and spay/neuters.

Despite the situation they came from, these are super-sweet dogs!  They are all young adults and they love to cuddle!  Perhaps you have a lap that needs a poodle!  It's cold out there and these guys would love to keep you warm!
