Pope Francis Global Academy held their first McTeacher's Night

A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's

Pope Francis Global Academy held their first ever McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Chicago McDonald's on Milwaukee Ave. The night was amazing. A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school. What an amazing night for Pope Francis Global Academy.

On Tuesday, April 24th, the restaurant was taken over by twenty-one Pope Francis Global Academy teachers and administrative staff excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families. Teachers handed out orders, cleaned tables, made ice cream treats, served drinks, prepared fries and even dressed up in a Pie costume. Bryanne Vincent, Dennis Conley, and Conrad Wojnar all took turns in the Pie outfit the entire night and what a blast they had mingling with all the families and taking pictures. Principal Kinel was also in attendance and enjoyed the evening. she took many pictures with the kids, worked the drive-thru for a while and talked with all the families.

Katie O'Neill, Kelly Szlak-Aimone, and Conrad Wojnar all worked hard selling delicious apple pies all night and had a blast. The funds earned from the Pie sales, tips and the night's sales will go directly to the school to help with equipment needed for the school.
