Retailers upping pay to recruit workers

ALDI food store on Golf Road in Niles has upped it's pay offering in an attempt to attract workers during the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent state wide stay at home order in effect until at least April 7. The hourly pay rate has increased by $3 per hour.

Retailers are finding it harder and harder to recruit employees during this trying time, and as such, are offering better wages and benefit packages to prospective employees.
