St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church Winter Food Fest

A touch of Greece and a taste of summer just a short
distance from home! 

Why wait until
August to enjoy our famous festival food? Come celebrate Greek culinary
traditions at our 2nd Annual Winter Food Festival. Snow or cold, we will be

doing the grilling! Guests are invited to dine on these favorites: Pork

Tenderloin Souvlaki (Shish-ke-bob), Chicken, Gyros sandwich, Pastichio (Greek

lasagna), Spinach or Cheese pies. Main entrees come with rice, salad and bread

roll. Beverages include Greek wines and beer. Desserts will include delicious

Loukoumades (fried honeyed doughnut holes), kourambiethes, melomakarona and

koulourakia, all made on the premises by the ladies of the community. 
February 14-16, 2014 in the Church’s Miller Center,  2727 W. Winona 
Admission is free.
Hours: Friday, February
14, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, February 15, noon to 9 p.m.
Sunday, February
16, noon to 6 p.m. 

Each night will
feature a cash 50/50 raffle for your chance to win!


Free parking
available in the church lot and at Budlong Elementary School. Additional
parking available ($4.00) at Swedish Covenant Hospital garage. For further
