President Donald J. Trump visited Chicago for the first time as POTUS
President Donald J. Trump visited Chicago for a high-end fundraiser after speaking at an FOP conference at McCormick Plaza.
The $35,000 per plate fundraiser was held at Trump International Tower, 401 N. Wabash, Chicago, IL.
There were several thousand Chicagoans on hand to protest the President's visit, actions and moral character near Trump Tower.

Wacker drive was closed to traffic before the protest marchers came up Wabash at approximately 2:20pm.
There was a fairly heavy police presence, complete with mounted police as well as Streets & Sanitation plow trucks used to block streets.

Authorities kept the protestors completely away from Trump, as he was nowhere to be seen, having been ushered into Trump Tower via a different route than the protestors took.
Protestors also voiced support with the CTU, Chicago Teachers' Union during their strike for better wages and working conditions.
