There are three ways to participate. First, candy may be donated at the school office by Friday, Oct. 11. Second, car trunks may be decorated and entered to win a prize in the trunk decorating contest. There is no charge to enter the trunk decorating contest. Third, children may come in costume and “trunk or treat.”
Marie Schmidt-Usdrowski, president of the St. John Brebeuf Parish/School Association which is sponsoring the event, reminded people that costumes and trunk decorations should be family-friendly. “We would love to welcome everyone from the community to come and enjoy the bouncy house for kids, music, games and concessions,” she said.
