Where, How To Vote Tuesday

Today, Tuesday Feb. 26, is primary election day.

If you live in Morton Grove, all voters are eligible to vote to determine the Action Party's candidate for mayor--Dan DiMaria or Dan Staackmann. The winner of this election will run against an independent candidate in the April 9 general election.

Some Morton Grove and some Niles voters also are eligible to vote in the Golf School District 67 referendum. Voters will decide whether to raise the tax rate on their property taxes in order to provide funding for the district. The decision is binding and affects all homeowners in the district.

If you are unsure if you are eligible to vote, use the Your Voter Information tool on the Cook County Clerk's website to check your sample ballot and find your polling place.
