THEFT OF CAR PARTS
Someone stole the mirror off of a vehicle parked in the 8400 block of Marmora Avenue on June 20.

THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD
A patron at a gym in the 6800 block of Dempster Street reported on June 20 that someone stole a credit card from a locker and made three unauthorized charges for unspecified amounts.
IRS SCAM?
A Morton Grove resident reported on June 22 that she had gotten a phone call from a person claiming to be an IRS agent. No further information was provided.

IDENTITY THEFT
A Dempster Street resident reported on June 22 that they had received two letters informing them that they had been declined credit by Barclays and Samsung. The resident told police they had never applied for either.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Staff at a charity shop in the 6700 block of Dempster Street reported on June 27 that someone shattered a glass front door.
THEFT
A resident in the 7500 block of Palma Lane reported on June 28 that someone shattered a glass front door.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Someone damaged the control panel in an elevator of a condominium in the 5500 block of Lincoln Avenue, police were told on June 29.
IDENTITY THEFT
A Warren Street resident reported on June 30 that someone had used their information to open several unauthorized accounts.
THEFT
A resident of the 9000 block of Mango Avenue reported on July 3 that some of their son's friends had stolen jewelry from the home.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
A 19-year-old Arlington Heights woman was arrested on June 21 and charged with driving without a valid license after police were called to the scene of a traffic crash in the 9400 block of Waukegan Road.
Samuel M. Mason-Johnson, 31, of the 6400 block of Oak Park Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on June 23 and charged with retail theft and obstructing police after police were called to a pharmacy in the 5900 block of Dempster Street for a report of a shoplifter. Mason-Johnson reportedly disobeyed police commands and fled on foot before he was taken into custody and charged.
A 27-year-old Des Plaines woman was arrested on June 26 and charged with driving with a suspended license after she was pulled over for an unspecified traffic offense in the 9000 block of Central Avenue.
Hari Khanal, 44, of the 8500 block of Fernald Avenue in Morton Grove, was arrested on June 27 in the 9000 block of Central Avenue on an active Cook County arrest warrant after police were called to a report of an unwanted person sleeping on a bench.
Antonio O. Dinkha, 23, of the 8900 block of Robin Drive in Des Plaines, was arrested on July 1 and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop near the intersection of Dempster Street and Oketo Avenue. He reportedly failed field sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample.
Rianna M. Garcia, 29, of the 2500 block of Jerome Street in Chicago, was arrested on July 1 and charged with driving under the influence after police encountered her sleeping in her car at a gas station in the 6900 block of Dempster Street. She reportedly failed field sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample.
