Writers Workshop / Snail Mail Write-In

On August 3rd, come to the Morton Grove Public Library Writers Workshop to practice the art of correspondence.

The Writers Workshop, which usually meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 7:00 PM, is a group where writers who want to share their works in progress and support other writers in drafting, revising, and finishing manuscripts, essays, poems, or any other type of writing meet. Readings can be in any genre or format. Writers of any level or professional aspiration are welcome.

For the month of August, however, the Writers Workshop will be engaging in writing a snail-mail letter. Stamps, stationary, and, even, typewriters will be provided. Families are welcome to attend this event, and try out their hand at writing a letter.

No registration is required for this event. For more information about this event or any upcoming events, call 847-929-5101 or visit www.mgpl.org.
