Yoga for Everyone: Sat., 8/16 at MGPL

Always wanted to try yoga? Come to the Morton Grove Public Library on Saturday, August 16th for a relaxing and invigorating yoga class with certified yoga instructor Kathleen Schauer from CorePower Yoga in Skokie. No experience is necessary, and we have options available for teens, adults, and seniors:

Chair Yoga

11:00 am - 11:50 am

Best for those with limited mobility or balance issues, this seated class will focus on breathing, flexibility, and meditation.

Beginner Yoga for Adults 18+

12:00pm - 12:50 pm

Build strength, increase flexibility and find focus by learning fundamental yoga postures and principles.

Beginner Yoga for Teens Ages 13-18

1:00 pm - 1:50 pm

Think yoga is just boring stretching? Think again! Kathleen Schauer will guide you through a fun series of poses and demonstrate some truly amazing arm balances and inversions.

Please bring a mat if you have one; a limited number of mats will be available the day of the class. Make sure to wear comfortable clothing.
