12 Neiman Marucs Handbags Worth More Than $35K Gone in 60 Seconds: Cops

Northbrook police are looking for 2 men and a woman accused of stealing a dozen Celine brand purses from the high-end retailer on June 22.

Northbrook, IL—It took about a minute for two men and a woman to take off with a dozen high-end handbags worth more than $35,000 from Neiman Marcus, according to Northbrook police.

According to the store's loss prevention agent, the three suspects entered the Northbrook Court store at about 10:46 a.m. June 22 and made a beeline to the handbag area, the report stated. Once in that section of the store, the trio swiped 12 Celine bags costing $35,900 and escaped along Lake Cook Road in a waiting white vehicle, the report added.

Police viewed store surveillance video of the crime and estimated it took the suspects just a minute to steal the hand bags and flee, the report stated.
